The lush grounds of Hotel Saint Cecilia are a secluded hideaway in the center of it all.
Built in 1888, the original Victorian home is anchored around the majestic oak tree located at the heart of the property. Fully restored with the addition of the iconic SOUL sign in 2009, the Hotel Saint Cecilia is a private sanctuary tucked away off South Congress.
GROUNDS
Each of the five suites, six poolside bungalows, six garden suites, and three studios embodies an equal love for the elegance of old-world luxury and the irreverence of our muses – The Stones, Bill Burroughs, Anne Sexton, Hunter S. Thompson among them. The secluded property and lush grounds are open only to hotel guests and members, thereby offering a unique sense of privacy situated steps away from the heart of South Austin.
Lobby
The hotel lobby is located next to the lounge at the center of the property, and offers a variety of guest amenities and opportunities. This building has an accessible path of travel to the entrance. The lobby is also home to the Saint Cecilia’s retail store, which carries a selection of items from travel necessities to souvenirs, and a variety of local and international craftspeople. Some items are available exclusively in the lobby store, like our custom indigo robe and Eloi silk scarf.
Pool & Arbor
Saint Cecilia’s crowning jewel is its 50-foot heated lap pool which is open to guests twenty-four hours a day. The Saint Cecilia also offers seated poolside dining under the arbor for breakfast and light fare.
Kids under the age of 13 are allowed to use the pool from 10 am – 2 pm. All other hours are adult swim only.
Dogs are not permitted in the pool area.
